Linda Mickens

 Linda serves as Regional Supervisor for J. Allen Management Co., Inc., bringing nearly three decades of dedicated service with the company and more than 35 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry. Her long tenure reflects both her deep industry knowledge and her consistent commitment to operational excellence and compliance.

Linda’s background includes experience with the Beaumont Housing Authority, where she worked in admissions, Section 8 processing, and property management. This foundation has given her a strong understanding of affordable housing operations from both an administrative and on-site management perspective.

At J. Allen Management, Linda plays a key role in supporting compliance and operational performance across the portfolio. Her responsibilities include conducting company-wide file audits, assisting with management and compliance reviews, and supporting the oversight of HUD-subsidized properties. She is also actively involved in voucher submissions, EIV compliance, MOR reviews, and assisting site teams with RealPage systems and reporting.

In addition to her compliance responsibilities, Linda has demonstrated strong operational leadership, including successfully maintaining high occupancy at a 150-unit community within the portfolio. She also manages the submission of annual HUD contract renewals and plays an important role in training staff on new and evolving HUD regulations, ensuring teams remain informed and compliant.

Linda holds professional designations as a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO). Her experience, reliability, and attention to detail make her an essential part of J. Allen Management’s continued success in affordable housing operations.
