Carrie J. Cox

 Carrie J. Cox serves as Chief Financial Officer of J. Allen Management Co., Inc., bringing a strong foundation in accounting, financial oversight, and strategic analysis. She holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University, where she pursued a dual major in International Studies and Russian—demonstrating both analytical depth and a global perspective.

Prior to joining J. Allen Management, Carrie built a well-rounded background in public accounting, where she prepared and reviewed financial statements and a wide range of tax filings, including corporate, S-corporation, partnership, individual, and trust returns. Her experience also includes payroll processing, state and federal payroll reporting, IRS correspondence, and advanced tax research for a diverse client base.

Carrie’s professional experience spans multiple industries, including high-impact financial work related to disaster recovery and government funding. Notably, she contributed to financial oversight efforts tied to damage claims from the Port Neches TPC explosion in 2019 and played a role in securing and reviewing FEMA and PPP reimbursements for the state of Mississippi. These experiences reflect her ability to navigate complex financial environments with accuracy and accountability.

At J. Allen Management, Carrie oversees all financial operations, including the preparation and review of financial statements, cash management, and budget development based on data-driven analysis. She is responsible for identifying and reconciling discrepancies, coordinating with external auditors, and approving accounts payable disbursements. In addition, she leads the implementation and oversight of internal controls within the accounting department, ensuring financial integrity and compliance across the organization.
